Back in August 2023, a class action lawsuit was filed in the US District Court for the Southern District of Indiana with case number 1:23-cv-01420-JPH-MG. It was alleged the company violated the TCPA by making unsolicited telemarketing calls on phone numbers listed on the National Do Not Call Registry.
Following the months-long legal proceedings, the American Income Life Insurance Company agreed to the settlement of $14 million without accepting any wrongdoing. The case got the preliminary approval in August 2025, and then in late September 2025, the claim form was made public on the web portal.

Who can submit a claim form?
To submit an online claim form against the $14M AILIC settlement, it is mandatory that you meet the following requirements:

- You have received two or more telemarketing calls on behalf of AICIL between August 11, 2019, and December 4, 2024.
Additionally, it is mandatory that you have received a notice from the settlement administrator that includes the class member ID and other crucial information.
How much will be received?
The settlement fund of $14 million will be distributed among all the claimants. The amount is going to be distributed equally among all the claimants. Note that out of the total amount, 30% will be the attorney fee.
The $9.8 million is expected to be distributed among the claimants; if you submit your claim, you may get up to $197. The exact payout amount will be disclosed by the settlement administrator with the payment release.
How to submit a claim form?

When to expect the payout?
