The Canada Revenue Agency is all set to send a payout of $936.5 to all beneficiaries of the Alberta child and family benefit. The benefit payment is going to be received by individuals who have already submitted the application. Here, we have shared the details about the eligibility, payout, and much more.

The CRA will send the payment to help families with the costs of raising children. They have officially disclosed the payment date and payout amount for the November 2025 ACFB payment. Note the beneficiaries will get the payout through the payment method they have chosen in their application.

To get the ACFB November 2025 payment, it is mandatory for you to be a parent of at least one child who is below 18 years, have filed the return with the CRA for the recent tax year, and meet the income limit. This payment is received by beneficiaries in four installments in a benefit year, which counts from July to June.

What is the November 2025 $936.5 ACFB payment?

The Alberta child and family benefit of $936.5 in November 2025 is for the parents who have four children under the age of 18 and meet the other eligibility requirements. The ACFB payment in the upcoming month will also be received by parents who have at least 1 child under the age of 18 years.

The payout amount for the total depends on the number of qualifying children and income. The maximum one can get with 1 qualifying child in a benefit year between July 2026 and June 2025 is $1,499, if the income threshold isn’t exceeded. If the income exceeds the benefit amount, it starts to phase out.

As I already have mentioned above, the Canada Revenue Agency has announced the date for the payment; note that the payment is going to be received on November 27, 2025. If you get the direct deposit, you may have to wait for up to 5 days to receive the payout directly in the bank account.

In the case of the paper check, the payment for the Alberta child and family benefit will be received within 7 to 10 days. Note that the check for the remote location may face a delay of up to a week. Note that you will get this payment only if you meet all the eligibility requirements.

Who is eligible to receive the ACFB November 2025 payment?

To get the November 2025 Alberta child and family benefit, it is mandatory that you meet the following requirements:

  • You must be a permanent resident of Canada and live in Alberta. 
  • You must be a parent, guardian, or caregiver of one or more children who are under 18 years old, and
  • You must file your income tax return with the CRA for the tax year 2024.

You must meet the income threshold set by the Canada Revenue Agency; go through the listed points to check the details about it.

  • If your family income is equal to or below $27,565, you are eligible to get the full benefit of ACFB.
  • Note that if your family income is between $27,565 and $46,191, you can avail the reduced benefit.
  • In case of having a family income more than $46,191, you don’t get the base benefit of ACFB.
  • An individual whose working income is more than $2,760 can get an extra working income benefit.
  • The extra working income amount also starts to decrease when one’s income goes over $46,191.

How much can one get?

The payout amount for the ACFB varies based on eligibility requirements. If you have only one child, your annual maximum benefit is $1,499. For each additional child, up to four children, the amount of $749 is added to the sum.

To check the installment payment of the ACFB between July 2025 and June 2026, please go through the listed points.

  • The maximum annual benefit for a child is $1,499; in each three-month period, the payment that is received is $374.75.
  • For two children, the maximum annual benefit becomes $2,248, so in each three months you can get $562.
  • The maximum annual payout for the three children is $2,997, and the installment payment is $749.25.
  • For four children, the maximum payout for a year is $3,746, and the payment that is received every three months is $936.5.

One whose working income is more than $2,760 can also receive the working income component, which is $767 for the first child, $698 for the second child, $418 for the third child, and $138 for the fourth child. These are additional annual benefits for the eligible parents.
