ACWB October 2025 Payment Update
The CRA has officially confirmed the date for release of the ACWB October 2025 payment. If you are a beneficiary of this benefit, you are all set to get the payout on October 10, 2025. Note that the payment will be received directly through the direct deposit and paper cheque.
If you get the Advanced Canada Workers Benefit payment via direct deposit, you are likely to receive it within a few hours on the payout date; and if you receive the payment through the cheque via mail, you may have to wait for a week or even more.
As per Canada Revenue Agency guidelines, it is mandatory that one keep the banking or mailing address correct. If there are any changes in your bank account details or residential address, make sure you update them before the payment date.

How much will be received in October 2025?
As a beneficiary of the Advanced Canada Workers Benefit, you need to know that the Canada Revenue Agency sends you a payout as per your eligibility. Under this scheme, one can get up to 50% of their annual Canada Workers Benefit in advance.
Note that the maximum CWB benefit for the individuals and family (couple and parents) is $1,633 and $2,813, respectively. Additionally, a disability supplement for each eligible individual is $843. As the ACWB is 50% of the CWB, you can:
- Get up to $816.50 if you are single.
- The payout amount for the family (couple or parents) is $1,406.50.
- Additionally, you can get a maximum of $421.50 for a disability supplement for each eligible individual.
Note that the ACWB payment is received in three equal instalments from July 2025 to June 2026. The first payment was already sent out on July 1, 2025; the second is all set to be received on October 10, 2025; and the third payment will be received on January 11, 2026.
If you are eligible for the maximum benefits, the payout amount in October 2025 as a single is going to be $272.16; for a family, the payout amount will be $468.83. Additionally, you will get $140.5 as a disability supplement for each eligible individual, if applicable.
What if I don’t get the payment on time?
Note that the CRA will send the direct deposit and mail the cheque on the exact date of payment without any delay. If you don’t get your direct deposit and receive your cheque within 72 hours and 1 week, respectively, get in touch with concerned officials.
If there will be any problem with the Canada Revenue Agency, they will resolve it, and you will have received the payment through the chosen payment gateway. If there will be any issues with your eligibility, you may be asked to provide the documents to fix the problem.
Can I check the payment status?
Yes, you can check the payment status for all previous and upcoming Advanced Canada Workers Benefit payments. To do so, you are required to log in to the official website of the Canada Revenue Agency.
To log in, you need to provide your user ID and password. After logging in to the official website, an option that reads ‘Benefits’ will be before you; tap on it and then click on the ACWB payment to check the history of all the payments you received.
