Mr. Amit Prothi

Mr. Amit Prothi is the Director General of the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI). Mr. Prothi brings a wealth of international experience and expertise in climate and disaster resilience issues. He has demonstrated 25 years of progressive leadership in urban planning and resilient infrastructure, with expertise across more than 15 countries including the USA, China, India, Greece, Mongolia, and Mauritania. Mr. Prothi served as Director of Sustainable Planning at AECOM, one of the largest global infrastructure advisory firms, was a consultant to the Asian Development Bank and the World Bank and worked with global thinktanks and philanthropic organizations including the Rockefeller Foundation supported 100 Resilient Cities program. Mr. Prothi holds a bachelor’s in architecture from the School of Planning and Architecture in Delhi, and a dual Masters in Regional Planning and Landscape Architecture from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He has also pursued doctoral studies in urban studies and planning at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Er. Rajan Datt

Er. Rajan Datt, esteemed Commissioner of Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST), Panchkula Zone, is an accomplished officer of the Indian Revenue Service (IRS) and a proud alumnus of Punjab Engineering College. With a distinguished career marked by his pivotal role in implementing the Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime, he has significantly contributed to modernising India's tax administration. His expertise spans policy formulation, taxpayer education, and enforcement, demonstrating his commitment to fostering transparency and efficiency in governance. As a thought leader in public administration, Er. Rajan Datt's insights into innovative policies and frameworks make him a prominent voice in sustainable development and smart city advancements.

Mr. Pradeep Singh

Mr. Pradeep Singh, a Survey of India Service member since 2007, holds an M.Tech. In Civil Engineering from IIT Roorkee. He's specialized in Surveying Engineering from Hyderabad and received training in UAVs for Earth observation from the University of Twente, Netherlands, in 2017. Additionally, he's skilled in Cyber Security, AI/ML, and Oracle Spatial. Currently serving as Deputy Surveyor General (Technical), he's overseen projects and technical activities. He previously directed Punjab, Haryana & Chandigarh Geospatial Directorate and Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh Geospatial Directorate. Pradeep's pivotal role in implementing drone technology for high-resolution surveys in various states and coordinating the SVAMITVA program highlights his contributions. Internationally, he's engaged in boundary demarcation projects and represented India in FIG events and UN-GGIM meetings. His memberships include the Indian National Cartographic Association and the UN-GGIM Working Group 2 for Cadastre and Land Management. Pradeep's career reflects a commitment to advancing geospatial technologies and fostering global collaborations.

Prof. Phalguni Mukhopadhyaya

Prof. Phalguni Mukhopadhyaya is spearheading teaching and research activities in the areas related to the design of building envelopes and structures at the University of Victoria (UVic), Canada. During the last two decades, he has developed numerous research collaborations with industry, academic and government organizations, and his research outputs have influenced many changes in building construction practices in Canada and beyond. He has led and contributed to the development of several national and international standards/guidelines for the performance evaluation of novel construction materials and systems which have been widely adopted by the construction industry. He has received numerous awards/recognitions from the national and international stakeholders of the Construction industry, including the recent ASTM International Professor of the Year, 2022; IFSIM (China) Lifetime Achievement Award, 2022; CSCE’s Walter Shanley Award, 2023; EGBC’s Meritorious Achievement Award, 2023; and University of Victoria’s REACH Research Impact Award, 2024. Phalguni is an elected Fellow of the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (FCSCE), the Canadian Academy of Engineering (FCAE), and the Engineers Canada (FEC) and is currently a registered Professional Engineer in the Province of British Columbia.
